To take responsibility for proper functioning of all hardware and software systems within the organization and provide the necessary support for the users, in order to ensure and optimize the continuity of the systems within the organisation.
To establish processes to provide consistently high levels of customer service in a cost effective manner.
Coordinate and organize the different activities within ICT Operations according to the priorities and competencies of each, and the needs of the organisation to ensure an efficient and effective service can be offered that meets the quality criteria of the organisation within the set terms.
Lead and organize all operational activities within ICT Operations to ensure that we can offer users the best possible support and troubleshooting services.
Motivate internal employees to ensure that their competencies, skills and know how are used in the best possible manner. Oversees staff in different stages of the delivery process, even though they may not be their direct line manager. Hold all service departments and employees within these teams accountable for carrying out the required processes and tasks and provide great customer service.
Stay well informed about the evolutions related to IT, keep his/her knowledge up to date within the context of evolutions in order to strengthen his/her credibility by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge.
Demonstrated managerial IT experience for at least 10 years, ideally in a complex highly demanding industry (production, automotive, processing) with a background in infrastructure
Knowledge on ITIL, ITSM framework, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Administration of Ticketing/Monitoring tools
Ability to efficiently implement the defined actions and to introduce process changes wherever applicable
Business acumen to allow a fast context understanding and to create easy alignment with internal customers and suppliers
Proven management experience including team collaboration and cross-functionality
Experience with challenging, convincing and motivating people, and networking.
Strong communicator with open personality and “critical eye”
Earned a master degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent by experience)
A balance between human and digital communication, in Dutch, English and French.
