Your challenges

We are seeking to hire into the Transformation Office, the role will report to the Chief Transformation Officer.

 

You will be assigned the following key responsibilities:

  • You track the implementation of projects and follow-up with Project Owners on progress
  • You will advise Project Owners, Business Heads and Controlling when initiatives are ready to progress through the various project stage gates (L-Gates)
  • You will learn and master the PMO tool called Wave and conduct training for staff members who need to use the tool, and will also be the interface between Balta and the technical Wave Support team
  • You will set-up, coordinate and prepare the project review sessions for each business unit
  • You will lead the action tracker discussion in project review meetings
  • You will act as a central point of contact and coordination for all aspects related to the transformation (NEXT)
  • You will prepare monthly performance reports on each business unit and workstream incl forecasts
  • You monitor monthly performance against plan and/or forecast, get explanations for the variances from the business
  • You will develop a solid understanding of all initiatives in the transformation
  • You will actively monitor for risks to the transformation and flag these to the CTO
  • You will prepare presentations on the transformation for the CTO and CEO (as required)
  • You will engage with controlling and advise on developing the narrative regarding the transformation for the quarterly reporting (in conjunction with the CTO)
  • You will look for ways in which to improve the process and impact from the transformation by actively suggesting alternative approaches
  • You will challenge the business on their execution and prompt stakeholders to ensure they meet their committed deadlines

Your talents

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering
  • 2-3+ years’ experience, with some exposure to Project Management
  • Highest standards of accuracy, precision and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in hands-on manner
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and eager to drive change
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
